Our School Day

The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.15pm for all children. Children may arrive at school from 8.40am. Registration is from 8.50am to 9.00am.

Our Nursery Class Starts at 9.00am and ends at 12.00 noon

Morning playtimes

Infant and Junior children have a morning break from 10.55am to 11.10am.

Lunch

Infant and Junior children have lunch at 12.15pm until 1.15pm

Drop-off and collection

Children, not attending the Ark or arriving on school buses, should arrive at school no earlier than 8.40am. School starts promptly at 8.50am.

Collection:

At the end of the day children will leave school via their outside classroom doors. Year 5 will leave via the door leading from the Reception area to the playground.

If, at the end of the school day, you are delayed or another person is collecting your child please let us know before 3pm.  This avoids any confusion or upset.

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking, cycling and scootering are definitely the best options! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. If you do need to travel by car, please park considerately.
